My 25th year high school reunion was last weekend, and I had an awesome time. Only regrets were that I wish I had attended the mixer on Friday night and stayed longer at the dinner/dance no matter how tired I thought I was. It was great to see everyone! I'm hoping for a 30th year reunion, even just a mixer if not a formal dinner thing.

Anniversary weekend

I was spirited away for an overnight stay at a casino hotel. Wonderful husband packed and I didn't even notice. I'm so unobservant! Was wonderful to escape home and the issues there. Had fun gambling. Played with $25 - I'm the last of the big spenders! (Yeah, right!) Actually, napped in early evening and then went downstairs to the casino around 12:30 a.m. Played a progressive slot machine which was part of a "bank" of machines. The smallest payout was $90-some odd, but I would have been happy to hit that. Went to bed around 2:20 a.m. and when I returned to the same slots to use up my remaining $2.71, the smallest pot was at $60 ... so someone won the other pot. I knew I should have stayed up and played some more!
